vegan snicker bars

These super easy 3 layer raw snickers bars are perfect for a little treat or after dinner snack. They don't take very long to make and are dairy free, refined sugar free and gluten free.


makes 9 small bars


Bottom layer

30g of oats (blended to a finer consistency)

1/4 cup cashew nut butter

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Middle layer

1/4 cup roasted salted peanuts

65 ml of maple syrup

1 tbsp coconut oil

1/3 cup natural peanut butter

Top layer

80g dark chocolate melted

1 1/2 tsp coconut oil


  1. Prepare a baking dish lined with parchment paper

  2. Mix all the ingredients for the bottom layer together and transfer to the dish pressing it down slightly.

  3. Place the dish in the fridge.

  4. Combine all the middle layer ingredients and spread over the previous chilled layer.

  5. Place the dish back into the fridge to chill.

  6. Pour over the top layer mixture and place in fridge to set.

  7. Once set remove from the dish and slice into bars

  8. Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
