Simple vegan burger

A MEATLESS MONDAY supper idea. I was sent a few delicious patties from an amazing local brand called Naked Leaf and I must tell you I love them so much. This beetroot and bean burger patty completely transformed my burger and guys look at that colour !



super easy to cook straight from the freezer, I added sweet potato chips and my favourite toppings, what more could I ask for ?


I started with a rye burger bun smeared it with some vegan butter and toasted in a pan.

then I layered:

- a dollop of vegan mayo (I use Bwell tangy mayo)

- some washed butter lettuce

- the Naked Leaf bean and beetroot patty

- some smashed avocado with salt, pepper and red chilli flakes

- sliced red onions

- thinly sliced pickles

- and a hand full of coriander (cilantro)


I served it with some baked sweet potato chips.


You can sub any burger patty into this burger and switch out any toppings that you don't like. This is a really easy weeknight supper idea especially for a build your own burger night.
