CRISPY TOFU for this salad

The crispy tofu recipe for the tofu used in this salad can be found below.

what's in my salad:

- mixed lettuce leaves (and some pretty flowers)

- cherry tomatoes

- cucumber

- sliced radish

- avocado

- white sesame seeds

- pomegranate dressing

- crispy tofu

crispy tofu recipe:

You will need:

one block of extra firm tofu

3 tablespoons of all purpose flour

1 tablespoon of corn starch

some smoked paprika

pinch of salt

1/2cup of plant milk of choice

  1. Press the tofu between paper towels to drain the excess water

  2. In a bowl combine the flour, salt, paprika and corn starch

  3. In a separate bowl add the plant milk

  4. Slice the tofu into 1cm thick slices

  5. Coat the tofu in the flour mixture then transfer to the plant milk and then the flour again. Then put the tofu onto a plate.

  6. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little bit of cooking oil

  7. Place the tofu in the pan and cook on one side until golden then flip over to the otherside and cook again.

  8. When the tofu is cooked and crispy remove from the heat and enjoy.

This tofu recipe can be used in this salad or in any other dish , I also love to serve it with potato chips and smashed peas or on a bagel with other toppings.
